About Airplane Mode Autopilot

Airplane Mode Autopilot intelligently manages your device's Airplane Mode based on Wi-Fi connections, eliminating the need for manual toggling. Once configured, the app works silently in the background to ensure your device switches seamlessly between states whenever you connect or disconnect from your networks.

If your carrier and device support Wi-Fi calling and texting, this automation delivers real benefits. By enabling Airplane Mode when you're connected to a strong Wi-Fi network, you force your device to rely on that connection for calls and messages. In areas where cellular signal is weak or unreliable, this means clearer calls and more dependable texts. You'll also notice improved battery life—your phone stops constantly searching for a fading cellular signal and conserves power instead.

The app's core strength lies in its flexible rule system. Use Whitelist Mode to automate only the networks you trust, giving you complete control over which connections trigger Airplane Mode. Switch to Blacklist Mode if you want automation enabled everywhere by default, with exceptions only for networks you explicitly exclude. Set different preferences for each Wi-Fi network you use regularly, and the app remembers your choices across reconnections.

Configuration happens through a one-time technical setup using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) from a connected computer. The app requires the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS system permission to toggle Airplane Mode automatically, and background location access to monitor Wi-Fi state changes accurately. No root access is needed. Once these permissions are granted via the ADB command provided in the app, Airplane Mode Autopilot runs entirely in the background without requiring manual input.

New networks trigger a convenient notification the first time you connect, allowing you to quickly set your automation preference for that SSID. Your location data is used only for Wi-Fi detection and is never collected or shared.

Try the full feature set free for seven days. After the trial, a one-time in-app purchase grants permanent access and uninterrupted background automation. Airplane Mode Autopilot transforms connectivity management from a repetitive manual task into automatic, intelligent behavior tailored to your networks and usage patterns.
